Preamble

1.1 This Regulation is developed for the purpose of organizing and holding the International Festival.

1.2 In its activities, the Organizer(s) of the Festival are guided by its Charter, these Regulations, and other regulatory acts.

1.3 ArtTime World Talent Festival is a complex of diverse events, including:

  • Competition for children, youth and adults
  • Music show with participation of well-known performers
  • Entertainment programs
  • Master classes
  • Discussion panels with jury members

Organizers

The founders of the Festival are: Show Studio ArtTime, Dortmund (Germany)

The Organizing Committee is established to coordinate the preparation and holding of the Festival. The Organizing Committee:

  • Determines the venue and dates of the Festival
  • Forms the jury panel
  • Forms the directing and production team of the Festival
  • Organizes the work of the press center during the Festival
  • Coordinates the Festival events

Venue & Date

Hamm is a green city with parks, tree-lined avenues, and a gentle breath of history, stretching along the quiet flow of the Lippe River.

We invite vocal and dance groups, folk art masters, singer-songwriters, amateur and professional participants of small forms (solo, duets, trios, quartets), large forms (show groups, ensembles, dance groups, choirs), and young performers in pop, jazz, and other genres to participate in our Festival.

Goals of the Festival

  • To promote the development and strengthening of culture through the support of children’s and youth creativity.
  • To popularize and support the development of pop and folk art.
  • To establish close friendly and creative ties between groups and performers from different cities and countries.
  • To familiarize participants with the national traditions and culture of the countries represented at the Festival.
  • To create a communication bridge with creative children from all over the world.
  • To organize children’s leisure and recreation.
  • Exchange of experience between professionals in the fields of vocal performance, choreography, theatre, and visual arts, and those who are only beginning their creative journey.

Creative Nominations

Vocal

  • Pop vocal (solo, duets, ensembles, show groups)
  • Folk vocal (solo, duets, ensembles)
  • Academic vocal (solo, duets, ensembles)
  • Jazz vocal (solo, duets, ensembles)
  • Choirs

Performance Requirements

All vocalists must perform live with minus track, musical instrument (e.g., keyboard), or a cappella. Dance accompaniment is allowed. Back vocals are permitted only for soloists and duets, provided it is not the main theme.

Evaluation Criteria

  • Accuracy of intonation and sound quality
  • Performance mastery
  • Repertoire suitability to performer’s abilities and age category
  • Stage presence and cultural presentation
  • Compliance of stage costume with artistic concept of the performance

Choreography

  • Folk dance (folk-stage, dances of the world, stylized folk)
  • Classical dance (ballet)
  • Ballroom dance (Latin and Standard)
  • Contemporary / Modern / Jazz-Modern / Jazz
  • Street Dance (Hip-Hop, Break-Dance, House-Dance, Locking, Popping, Krump, Afro Style, Dancehall…)
  • Dance Show (Jazz-Funk, Vogue, Waacking, Shuffle, Acro Dance)
  • Pop dance (incl. rock-n-roll, cabaret, stage show, Charleston, retro, folk stylization)
  • Open (use of different dance styles or their combination; inclusion of elements of acrobatics, pantomime, theatricalization, and show; use of props and special effects, provided they do not compromise the safety of participants and the audience)

Performance Requirements

Repertoire must correspond to the age of participants; duration within limits set by Regulations; costumes must match the repertoire, genre, and artistic concept.

Performance Requirements

Props are allowed if: safe for participants and audience; do not damage the stage surface; setup time does not exceed 30 seconds. Prohibited: pyrotechnics, open fire, liquids, powders, flammable materials.

Decorative and Applied Arts

Each participant may submit up to 5 works.

For ensembles, the age category is determined by the average age (deviation not more than 30%).

Performance Regulations

Duration
Up to 3 minutes per performance
  • Exceeding the limit may result in music being stopped or score reduction.
  • Participants present programs with minus track.
  • All backing tracks of vocal performers, as well as the musical accompaniment for choreographic and other numbers, must be submitted by October 01, 2026 via email to arttime.worldfestival@gmail.com or through the application form in FLAC, WAV, or MP3 format.
  • File naming: Participant’s Name + Title of Performance (Latin letters only).
Participants must have a backup copy on a flash drive.

All participants must have a copy of an identity document (passport or birth certificate) that clearly states the child’s date of birth.

Application Rules

Application deadline:01.10.2026
  • To participate in the festival, the application form must be completed by October 01, 2026 (for a group — by the director, for soloists — by the director or a parent).
  • After submission, the Organizing Committee sends official invitations confirming participation and payment instructions.
  • Changes after 01.10.2026 (title, backing track, participants): €10 per change.
  • Changes less than 10 days before the competition are not allowed!
  • Cancellation: registration fee is non-refundable.
  • All bank fees are paid by the participant.

Participation Conditions

  • All participants must be familiar with and accept these Regulations.
  • Each invited participant arrives at the Festival at the times specified in the official invitation.
  • Delegation composition must be indicated in the application. Additional participants only upon agreement with the Organizing Committee.

* The stated participation fee applies per person for one competition performance. If participating in multiple performances, the fee must be paid separately for each performance.

Group leaders, parents, or guardians are responsible for the safety of children during the Festival.

Audience Admission

  • All festival participants receive free admission to the concert hall on the day of their performance.
  • For groups of up to 10 participants, 1 free ticket is provided for the leader. For groups of 10 participants or more, 2 free tickets are provided for the leaders.
  • All other persons (parents, additional teachers, accompanying persons, and guests) must purchase tickets in the general order.

Photo & Video

Professional photo & video is provided for all performances. A general review will be published on social media with the festival logo.

All participants will receive photos and videos of the performance as a gift!

Awards

  • Winners (Grand Prix, Laureates, Diploma holders) in each age category and nomination are determined by the competent Jury, whose decision is final and cannot be disputed.
  • The award ceremony will take place in accordance with the Festival program.
  • Each participant receives a medal, a diploma, and a commemorative gift. Each group receives a diploma, and prize-winning groups for 1st–3rd places additionally receive a trophy. Soloists also receive a trophy in case of winning a prize.
  • Leaders of groups/soloists are awarded personal honorary certificates and diplomas.
  • Grand Prix and 1st place Laureates receive certificates for participation in future ArtTime festivals with discounts.

Independent
expert evaluation
  • To ensure independent expert evaluation of Festival participants, a jury of at least 5 members is formed.
  • The jury consists of leading specialists in the field of vocal, choreographic, theatrical and stage arts.
  • Performances are evaluated on a 10-point scale.

Online Participation

If you want to take part in the competition online, you need to fill out the application form and provide the video material of the competition performance in good quality to arttime.worldfestival@gmail.com, indicating in the subject of the letter the full name of the group (soloist) and the title of the performance, or attach a link to the video recording in high quality on YouTube.

By submitting the application and video recording, the participant automatically confirms their consent to the use of the material by third parties (organizers, jury members, other participants), as well as to the placement of the video on the organizer’s website.

The participant receives diplomas in PDF format to the email address specified in the application: a diploma for the group or a personal diploma for the participant (soloists and small forms) indicating the degree awarded by the jury; a personal diploma for the teacher.

Symbolism

The Festival has its own emblem and anthem, approved by the founder.

Other Conditions

  • The Organizing Committee reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Festival due to force majeure; prepayments will be refunded in full.
  • Information provided by participants when filling in the application is confidential. The Organizer uses such information for the purpose of ensuring participation in the Festival and for other purposes specified in these Regulations.
  • By providing personal data in the application, the participant consents to the storage and processing of their personal data.
  • The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Regulations if necessary.
